Happy Birthday 16th Street Mall
The 16th Street Mall turns 30 this month! The mall running 1.25 miles long from Union Station to Broadway is the number one tourist attraction in Denver. Over 300 stores, 50 restaurants, the mall shuttle and interesting street performers have always made this a fun attraction. Now that it’s turning the big 3-0, join the Downtown Denver Partnership, the Denver Business Improvement District, the City and County of Denver and RTD for a special ceremony. Tomorrow, October 9th from 11:30-12:15 there will be an event celebrating the mall. Stop by and join in the fun at Skyline Park on 16th and Arapahoe.
StreetScene / 14th
This week, our StreetScene is focusing on 14th right here in LoDo. After a complete overhaul last summer, this has become a pretty cool street; new businesses, new buildings, as well as a bunch of our old favorites. Check it out - and if you click the photo, it'll take you to more info about that point of interest. It could be a special event that's going on, a menu, a tidbit of info... Enjoy!
What a Great Opportunity
From time to time, a condominium building just gets a bum rap. For whatever reason, the market just perceives it as a inferior. It could be that the building launched at a bad time. It could be that schadenfreude rears its ugly head. It could just be the alignment of the stars. But, more often than not, the bum rap isn't deserved. And, when one can see through the negativity, what they catch a glimpse of is a great oppotunity. That's certainly the case at Residence XXV, the homes above Denver's Ritz Carlton. Spectacular finishes, great views, services and amenities that cannot be bettered. Really, a gorgeous project.
To make things a little sweeter, the Denver Post today is reporting that the project is "slashing prices" on the next five sales by as much as 50% off of the current pricing. Here's the thing, they are above the Ritz Carlton. The Ritz Carlton!
The services alone might make it work: room service, maid service, concierge services, a great health club, a wonderful restaurant, spectacular views. This is city living at its finest, all tired cliches applying. The property is listed by Kentwood City. Did we mention the homes are, essentially, part of the Ritz Carlton?
